Keisen, Tomita, 1879-1936Born in Fukuoka; lived in Kyoto. Given name Shingoro. Studied Shijo-style painting with Tsuji Kako; also studied Heian Buddhist painting and nanga. Exhibited paintings with Saiko Nihon Bijutsuin in 1915; became member in 1916.
