Born near Hamamatsu. Studied Japanese-style painting with Kaburagi Kiyokata and at Tokyo School of Fine Arts and with Yuki Somei. Exhibited paintings at Teiten. Landscape prints, totaling about 50, were published by Watanabe Shozaburo 1922-1930s.
